Sports / Swedish Massage
Massage is a general term for pressing, rubbing and manipulating the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Massage can range from light stroking to deep pressure. At The Treatment Room I offer many different types of massage• Swedish massage. This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration and tapping. It helps you feel relaxed and energised.• Deep massage. This massage technique uses slower, firmer strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue.• Sports massage. Using a range of soft tissue techniques which include soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques and neuromuscular techniques it's geared toward people involved in sport activities to help prevent or treat injuries but not specifically for those involved in sports.• Trigger point massage. This massage focuses on pressure points throughout the body to improve blood flow and promote relaxation to the area.
Benefits of Massage
Massage is generally considered part of integrative medicine. You will find most physios and chiropractors working alongside massage therapists now as they recognise the importance and benefits of these treatments.Massage benefits can include:• Reducing stress and increasing relaxation
• Reducing pain and muscle soreness and tension
• Improving circulation, energy and alertness

Client Testimonials
Highly recommend Rana. She was extremely knowledgeable and professional when treating my elderly Dad. Assessed him thoroughly and had so much patience with him. She has given him some mobility back to his neck/shoulder area which has made a huge difference to every day life for dad. Just can't thank rana enough.

I've been suffering from joint pain and tightness in my arm and shoulder for several months. One treatment from Rana and I'm feeling a lot freer and in much less pain. She gave a thorough and deep massage plus a maintenance plan to take forward. I'm feeling confident that I can now work towards a full recovery knowing exactly what I'm doing. Just wish I lived closer to Perth (here visiting family) as I'd be having regular treatment. Rana is knowledgeable, friendly and skilled. I can't recommend her highly enough if you're struggling with anything that limits your mobility in either sports, work or just day to day.

I went to see Rana for treatment/massage after attending a chiropractor for 3 years and not seeing any long term results with my pelvis issues. Rana really knows her stuff, she identified issues with other muscle areas which were contributing to my ongoing pelvis issues these were made worse when I was pregnant. Rana really does work wonders. I felt the difference after one session and seen an improvement with my range of movement. Rana also gave me exercises/stretches to do daily. I have continued to see Rana every 6-8weeks for maintenence which is a massive improvement for me compared to my fortnightly visits to the chiropractor. Thanks Rana
